Phil Berry is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Custom Quality Services, Inc.
CQS is a Louisville based, non-profit organization, with the mission of providing meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities, in a normalized work environment.
Mr. Berry has held leadership positions in three other non-profit organizations prior to joining CQS in 2002. He is a former director of the Otis Bowen Center for Mental Health in Warsaw, Indiana, the former Managing Director of the Fourth Freedom Forum of South Bend, Indiana and Washington, D.C., and is a past World President of Jaycees International.
Phil was also co-owner of Nagao-Berry International, for eight years. This Indiana exporting firm represented USA manufacturers in the Japanese marketplace. The company successfully marketed and sold over eighty products.
He has had a great deal of international experience. Phil has traveled to over 120 countries throughout his career. That experience includes meetings with 30 Heads of State, addressing the United Nations, and keynoting a conference in front of the Crown-Prince (now Emperor), of Japan.
Phil was born and raised in, Owensboro, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University where he received a Bachelors Degree, in Psychology. While at Western, he worked at the College Post Office and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha, Fraternity.
Currently, Phil serves on the steering committee of the Counsel of Agency Executives, of the Metro United Way, is on the Board of Directors of Wildwood Country Club, and is active in his Church. In his spare time, Phil enjoys playing golf, creating art, and reading.
